A Prestigious 2009 Statewide Award For Our Prestigious Landscape Architect

September 24, 2009 - Heinrich W. Fischer, R.L.A., Principal Landscape Architect at Parrone Engineering, recently received a prestigious 2009 New York State Environmental Beautification Award from the New York State Nursery and Landscape Association. His winning project, a private residential backyard and entertainment center located in Honeoye Falls, was recognized for its excellence in the category of Night-Lighting, Unlimited. Mr. Fischer proudly accepted his award from the Governer's wife during the Arbor Day ceremonies at the State Capital. His award was also on display for opening day at this year's New York State Fair during the Hall of Fame and Gold Medal for Horticulture Awards Ceremony.

Mr. Fischer has developed an expertise and is recognized for his planting, garden development, and low voltage ("Green") landscape/architectural lighting design throughout Western New York. He has received several design awards from the New York State Nursery and Landscape Association and its regional associations for residential environmental projects.

Mr. Fischer is a member of the New York State American Society of Landscape Architects and is a past President of both the New York State Nursery and Landscape Association and the Low Voltage Lighting Institute of the Americas. He was honored as a New York State Nursery and Landscape Association Hall of Fame Inductee in 1992.
