Ed Parrone Named "Man of the Year"

The Welfare Society of St. Nicolas Tolentino named Parrone Engineering President and CEO, Ed Parrone “2011 Man of the Year.” Ed was honored at an October 15th dinner, attended by friends and family from around the country.

Founded in East Rochester in 1926, The St. Nicholas Society aids its members when sick or in need of help and inspires them in the sentiments of unity and brotherhood. The St. Nicholas Society supports programs of education, sports and morality in through both intangible and material means.Ed was chosen as “Man of the Year” for his numerous contributions to the local, national and international community over the past 40 years.

In East Rochester, Ed has served as President of Jaycees, President of East Rochester Rotary, President of East Rochester Youth Football, and has been the recipient of the Paul Harris Fellow Award. He is also past Building Chairman for Habitat for Humanity for Rochester Engineers and Architects, and currently sits on the Board of Directors for H.O.P.E. for Haiti.
